Volunteer opportunity to design a booklet for the Mulvane Art Museum Exhibition titled, “Whose America?”
The exhibition concept is about examining artworks by various 20th century American artists in the Mulvane’s collection, this exhibition explores the way visual art has promoted, questioned, or flatly denied claims that our systems of power, based on capitalist democracy, work for the benefit of all Americans.  Mass immigration, the Great Depression, two World Wars, the Vietnam war, the Civil Rights Movement, the Cold War, the Feminist movement, and culture wars of the 1970s and 1980s are the contextual backdrop against which many American artists have considered and reconsidered issues of belonging and exclusion, winning and losing within established systems of power.
